LAKE WENDOUREE HOUSE - David & Shantini
‘When purchasing our post-modern lakeside house, we wanted to involve as much as possible, local and regional professionals to help us realise this project of adapting it to become a comfortable well-designed energy-efficient family home. From the outset, Luke showed a clear enthusiasm for the project’s potential using Passiv Haus principles.

He was incredibly easy to work with, patiently listening to our needs and ideas during the design process, and then aesthetically and practically combining them utilising his own creative flair. His skill, attention to detail and willingness to learn with us made the process a real pleasure. Every window in our house looks out on a different aspect of the lake or garden, creating a sense of peace and tranquility.

We couldn’t be happier with Luke as our architect, and remain thankful for his skill that enabled us to enjoy our home with a sense of character, space, natural light, beauty, joy and comfort.

TALBOT HOUSE - Andrew & Eliza
‘From concept through to completion, Luke was a consummate professional.  He was flexible as we worked through a number of designs, and not only listened but delivered. He combined creative design with best practise in the building industry.  In the end, he turned our old Victorian weatherboard with its unpretentious façade, into a spectacular family home filled with light and space, and a luxury interior. We couldn’t be happier with the process and result.’

JR’s HUT KIMO ESTATE - David & Emelia
‘We engaged Anthony Hunt Design & Luke Stanley Architects to design our ‘eco hut’ project at Kimo Estate in Gundagai NSW. We gave Anthony & Luke free reign over the design process as we believe that architects earn their money in the creative phase of the project, especially when dealing with the initial concepts.

Anthony and Luke designed a stunning piece of architecture, with the materials all tying in beautifully with their location. They created an amazing space, that is visually appealing and leaves our customers with a sense of place in our environment. We expect the hut to stand the test of time and have been overwhelmed with the public response it’s received.'

BANKSIA HOUSE - Tom & Naomi

'We engaged Luke to extensively renovate our home in Eaglemont. We were highly impressed with Luke’s attention to detail and collaboration. His design was creative, practical and to the brief, with all elements considered as to how they will be ‘lived in’.

The architectural process was enjoyable, with Luke’s enthusiasm shining through, and incorporating our thoughts and feedback in ways which we would never have expected. Overall, we could not have asked for a better experience or outcome, and we will definitely be engaging Luke in any future projects.'

THE PLINTH HOUSE & GUEST POD - Peter & Alison
‘From day one we were impressed with his Luke’s design approach, detailed research and comprehensive understanding of the brief. He brought fresh, well considered ideas to the table that were simple, elegant solutions that we had not previously considered. It was refreshing to see well imagined and resolved ideas, and we had total confidence in Luke's design judgement from the earliest stages. He seemed to really 'get' what we were aiming for and had an obvious strong interest and affinity with the project.

Overall every aspect of Luke's work has enriched our enjoyment of the little "Plinth House", but most importantly he met, then exceeded our expectations and was a pleasure to work with.’

BERKELEY HOUSE - Etoile
‘Luke Stanley (in collaboration with Cameron Fry Architect) was engaged to design and project manage the contemporary extension for our 1960's brick home. From the outset Luke understood our brief, the design detail and the overall construction quality we were after. Respecting and working within our budget he sought to meet and exceed our expectations by offering cost effective, yet high impact solutions without jeopardising the quality of the project. Luke was also effective in navigating us through the building process, helping us to foresee and manage some of the more common pitfalls experienced during construction.

Through Luke’s experience and professionalism we were given the opportunity to confidently explore new architectural ideas while also learning to appreciate the historical context of our original home. The end result greatly enhanced the way in which we experienced our home reinforcing the positive influence and added value working with the right architect can make.’

LENNOX HOUSE - Andrew & Toni
‘We engaged Luke Stanley Architects to extend and renovate our home in Northcote, Melbourne. Luke’s design was amazing, combining both aesthetic and practical features. Luke’s professionalism was exceptional and attention to detail impressive.

Most importantly, Luke and our builder got on very well ensuring a smooth construction process and making a potentially very stressful time generally stress free. We are delighted with the end result and would have been lost without him to guide us through the complex process.'
